Bairnsdale Campus newsletter: May 15, 2020

May 15, 2020 | Bairnsdale News

Early this week the news of our return to school was nicely received. It will be lovely to have our junior students with us to start with and for our seniors to follow a few weeks later.

Of course, these announcements require planning and decision making on everyone’s behalf in preparation for a safe return for all our students. Parents, please contact me if there will be any difficulty for you as a result of the staggered return to school.

Today we have put the devices away to take on a Lego challenge across the campus. Our students were asked to create a castle that included several the following features:

  • A tower
  • A moat
  • A drawbridge
  • A magic garden
  • A secret tunnel
  • A dungeon
  • A scary monster
  • A modern-day entertainment room
  • A stained glass window

They were asked to work as a family or individually to design and construct a castle and then send in the photos of the completed masterpiece.

Enjoy your weekend with family and friends,

Kind regards,

Virginia Evans
Head of Bairnsdale Campus
